G Studio is a vocal recording studio in Dubai designed for artists who want their voice captured properly — not run through a template, not rushed between clients, not delivered as a rough demo. Every session takes place in a private Palm Jumeirah room on a Neumann U87 through a Tube-Tech MP2A — the same signal chain used on world-class pop, R&B and cinematic recordings. A multi-platinum producer works the session with you at the mic, calling the takes, comping in real time, and shaping the vocal until it sounds like a finished record.

Who this studio is built for

We work with three main groups. First — independent artists and songwriters preparing releases for Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. If you are new to studio recording, the producer walks you through mic technique, warm-up, breath control and take strategy. If you are experienced, you come in prepared and we cut fast. Either way, the room is set up to make your voice sound like the artist you actually are, not a generic pop-vocal template.

What the vocal recording session includes

A typical booking covers lead vocals, doubles, harmonies, backgrounds, adlibs, hooks and demo vocals — whatever the song needs. All takes are captured to Pro Tools at 24-bit / 48kHz through the Neumann U87 + Tube-Tech chain, monitored on world-class near-field speakers and reference headphones. You leave the session with clean, isolated stems on the same day — ready to hand to your mix engineer.

What is not included in the recording session hours: vocal comping across many takes, hand-tuning on notes and syllables, timing edits, breath removal, and full mix or master. Those are separate services booked and quoted individually. This keeps the recording session focused on capture — and the post-production budget honest and transparent.

The technical setup

The signal chain is intentionally minimal and world-class: Neumann U87 large-diaphragm condenser into a Tube-Tech MP2A tube preamp, then straight to Pro Tools. No cheap converters, no bus processing, no colouring on the way in. This is the same chain used on countless multi-platinum recordings — the reason your voice ends up sounding like a record and not a demo.

The room itself is a treated, private space on Palm Jumeirah — no shared rooms, no adjacent sessions, no walk-in traffic. Reflections and low-end are controlled properly. Talkback and headphone monitoring are dialed in for singer comfort. Session tempo, key and reference material are loaded before you walk in, so the first take can happen minutes after arrival.

Singing lessons and vocal coaching

For singers who want to develop their voice, we offer private singing lessons and vocal coaching in the same room. One-on-one sessions with a multi-platinum producer who has recorded, mixed and produced hits at the highest level. Focus areas include range extension, breath control, tone shaping, mix voice, vibrato, pitch stability, vocal styling and studio-specific technique. Coaching slots are limited to preserve session quality — this is not a general music school format, it is one-on-one work with a working producer.

Voice-over for business and content

Beyond music, the studio runs broadcast-quality voice-over sessions for commercials, e-learning courses, audiobooks, IVR menus, corporate videos and brand campaigns. Native-speaker talent is available in eight-plus languages including English (US, UK), Arabic, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Hindi. Turnaround is same-day for scripts under 500 words and 24-48 hours for longer projects. Deliverables include the finished voice-over, alternate takes, and optional light editing.

Why record vocals in Dubai instead of your bedroom

A home setup can capture a rough vocal, but it cannot reproduce three things that matter for a professional release: the microphone (a $3,500 Neumann U87 vs. a $200 USB mic), the room (professionally treated acoustics vs. a bedroom with parallel walls), and the person calling takes (a multi-platinum producer vs. no producer at all). Those three differences are the reason your voice can either sound like a demo or sound like an artist.

Booking a proper studio for the vocal session is also the cheapest place to fix mix and mastering problems later. A vocal recorded on the wrong mic in the wrong room cannot be rescued in the mix. A vocal captured cleanly through a Neumann into a treated room can be mixed by anyone — us, your mix engineer, or a friend who knows Pro Tools.

Booking and session policy

Bookings are private and made via WhatsApp. Only three sessions per day, no walk-ins, no overlap between clients. There are no annual contracts, no monthly retainers, no bundled packages. Pay per session at the studio rate — come back when the next song is written. If the result is not what you needed, we would rather you not come back than lock you into a subscription.

Session slots typically open 3-7 days in advance. Rush bookings (same-day or next-day) are possible depending on producer availability. If your project is time-sensitive, message the studio directly and we will find a way.
